Security Deposit Policy
At CaMor Event Rentals, we strive to ensure a smooth and reliable rental experience. To protect our inventory and provide quality service, we require a security deposit for all rentals. Please review our deposit policy below:
1. Orders Under $125
- A flat security deposit of $25 is required for all rental orders totaling $125 or less.
- This deposit is refundable upon the return of all items in their original condition and free of damages or loss.
2. Orders Over $125
- For rental orders exceeding $125, the required security deposit will be 33% of the total rental fee.
- This deposit is also fully refundable if all items are returned in good condition, without any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required.
3. Deposit Payment
- The security deposit must be paid at the time of booking.
- We accept payments via Stripe.
4. Refund Policy
- After the rental period ends and the items are returned, we will inspect the equipment.
- If there are no issues, your deposit will be refunded within 72 hours, using the original payment method.
- In the event of damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning the security deposit will be retained.
5. Non-refundable Scenarios
- Damage: If any rented item is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the deposit will be applied toward the cost of repair or replacement.
- Loss: Missing items will result in a charge based on the replacement cost.
- Excessive Cleaning: If returned items require cleaning beyond standard care, a cleaning fee will be deducted from the deposit.
6. Terms and Conditions
- Deposits are held to cover potential damages, losses, or extra cleaning costs.
- If the cost of damages or losses exceeds the security deposit, the renter will be responsible for covering the remaining balance.
By agreeing to rent from us, you accept the terms of this security deposit policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of our rental items for all customers.
