How to play giant connect 4:
Setting Up
Find a fairly even piece of ground to put together the board or frame. This could be a patio, a piece of lawn or even inside your house if you have space.
You will then need to take out all the counters and separate them into two colors. These usually come in the frame to ensure they are kept in good condition. In order to take the counters out of the frame you will need to push them out with a ruler.
Once all of the counters are out, separate them into piles of two colors and you will be ready to play.
Tip: make sure the bottom of the frame is blocked so that the pieces don't fall out when you drop them in.
Objective of the Game
The objective of the game is to get four of your color counters in a line, it doesn't matter if the line is diagonal, horizontal or vertical. Take turns to drop the counters into the frame, both players must take every turn, you aren't allowed to pass or forfeit the a turn.
The first person to get 4 in a row is the winner.
Results: Win, Lose or Draw
If you get more than 4 in a row you lose or forfeit to your opponent, this can happen when you have no choice but to drop a counter into a gap between your own color, making it 5 or more in a row.
It is considered a draw if the board is completely filled with neither player getting 4 in a row.
